Dolopar 250 Suspension 100ml

Dolopar 250 Suspension is used for managing fever and mild to moderate pain in children. It contains paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen), which works as an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It helps in relieving conditions like headache, toothache, muscle aches, and fever caused by colds or infections. The liquid suspension makes it easier for children to swallow and ensures accurate dosing.

• Paracetamol: This is the active ingredient that helps in reducing fever and relieving pain in children. It may assist in blocking the chemical messengers in the brain that signal pain and heat. Paracetamol is widely used due to its safety when used in recommended doses. It is suitable for short-term use and is often prescribed for children to help manage discomfort caused by fever or infections.

• Relieves Fever in Children: The paracetamol in Dolopar 250 helps reduce elevated body temperature by acting on the temperature-regulating centre in the brain. It may restore normal body temperature, especially in fever caused by infections like flu or common cold.

• For children aged 3 to 5 years with an average weight of 10 to 18 kg, the recommended dose is 3 to 4 ml.
• For children aged 5 to 7 years with an average weight of 18 to 22 kg, the recommended dose is 5.5 to 6.5 ml.
• For children aged 7 to 9 years with an average weight of 22 to 29 kg, the recommended dose is 6.5 to 9 ml.
• For children aged 9 to 12 years with an average weight of 29 to 40 kg, the recommended dose is 9 to 12 ml.
• In each case, every 4 to 6 hourly or as directed by the physician to be given.
• Maximum daily dose, 4 doses in 24 hours.
• Maximum dose 60 mg per kg body wt. in divided doses in 24 hours.

• Keep away from direct light and moisture. 
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Use under medical supervision.
• Kindly consult the doctor if fever persists. 
• Overdose may be injurious to liver.
• Replace cap tightly after every use.
• Avoid in children with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol. Should not be used with other Paracetamol containing products.
