Urilex Sr 40 MG Capsule 10 is used for the following:

• Peripheral vascular diseases such as Raynaud’s phenomenon and intermittent claudication
• Treating hardening and thickening of the arteries
• Prevention of premature labour
• Improving blood circulation in the hands and feet
• Managing decreased blood flow to the extremities
• Relieving symptoms of poor circulation
• Preventing complications of arteriosclerosis

Follow these instructions while taking Urilex Sr 40 MG Capsule 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Take it at the same time each day for the best results.

Urilex Sr 40 MG Capsule 10 is taken orally.

Urilex Sr 40 MG Capsule 10 contains isoxsuprine (40 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blood Vessel Dilation: Isoxsuprine relaxes and widens blood vessels throughout your body, which increases blood flow to various organs and tissues, particularly in the hands and feet.
• Peripheral Circulation Improvement: It enhances blood circulation in peripheral blood vessels, which helps alleviate symptoms of conditions like Raynaud's phenomenon, where poor circulation causes numbness and pain in extremities.
• Uterine Muscle Relaxation: Isoxsuprine reduces the strength of contractions in the uterus (womb), which makes it effective in preventing premature labour in pregnant women.
• Cerebral Blood Flow Enhancement: The medicine increases blood supply to your brain, which helps manage symptoms of cerebral vascular insufficiency, a condition where brain function is impaired due to reduced blood flow.
