Uniresp 200 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Long-term management of asthma

• Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Prevention of breathing difficulties in lung conditions

• Reducing airway inflammation in respiratory disorders

• Relieving bronchospasm in chronic lung diseases

• Improving respiratory muscle function

• Decreasing sensitivity to airway irritants

• Maintenance therapy for persistent breathing problems

• Reducing air trapping in obstructed airways

• Supporting diaphragm contractions for better breathing

Follow these instructions while taking Uniresp 200 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time every day for best results.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Uniresp 200 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Uniresp 200 MG Tablet 10 contains theophylline (200 mg), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Bronchodilation: Theophylline relaxes and opens up the airways in the lungs, making it easier for air to flow in and out during breathing.

• Reduces airway inflammation: It helps decrease swelling and irritation in the breathing passages, which can otherwise narrow the airways and cause breathing difficulty.

• Strengthens respiratory muscles: Theophylline improves the function of the diaphragm, the main muscle used for breathing, helping you to breathe more effectively.

• Maintain adequate fluid intake throughout the day unless advised otherwise by your doctor. Proper hydration helps keep airway secretions thin, making it easier to breathe when you have asthma or COPD.

• Avoid large amounts of caffeine from coffee, tea, cola and chocolate while taking Uniresp 200 MG Tablet 10. Caffeine is similar to theophylline and can increase side effects.
