TRISOPT OPHTHALMIC SUSPENSION 5ML is used to lower raised intraocular pressure in adults with open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension, protecting the optic nerve and helping to preserve vision.
It contains brimonidine, brinzolamide and timolol (an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and a beta-blocker eye drop combination). Use it as prescribed; wash hands before use and do not touch the dropper tip. Remove contact lenses before instillation and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.
Keeping to all monitoring appointments for eye pressure and optic nerve assessment supports safe treatment alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any asthma, COPD, severe heart conditions or sulphonamide allergy before starting, as the timolol component can affect breathing and heart rate. Report significant eye irritation, worsening vision or breathing difficulties.
