Suppol Child Suppositories are used for relieving fever and mild to moderate pain in children aged 2–4 years, especially when oral medication is not feasible. It is formulated with Paracetamol/Acetaminophen in a suppository base that allows rectal administration. It works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that trigger pain and elevated body temperature, providing fast, effective relief. It is a convenient alternative to oral or injectable therapy. The suppository should be inserted gently into the rectum as directed by a physician.

• Paracetamol / Acetaminophen 170 mg: Paracetamol is a widely used analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers called prostaglandins in the brain that trigger pain and raise body temperature. This action helps reduce fever quickly and alleviates mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, body aches, or discomfort associated with infections. Paracetamol is well-tolerated in children when used at the recommended dosage.

• First, detach one suppository along the perforation. Separate tabs at the top opening (peel apart here and pull downward from the pointed end to almost the full length of the suppository.
• Expose the rectal area and gently push the suppository well up into the rectum. For grown-up children, a suppository can be inserted in a standing or sleeping position.
• Hold the buttocks firmly for a few seconds to ensure proper insertion.
• Suppol Child (170 mg) is for ages 2-4 years.
