Salso 12% Ointment is used for managing various skin conditions involving thickened, rough, or scaly skin. It works by softening and exfoliating the outer layer. Containing Salicylic Acid IP (12% w/w) in a smooth ointment base, it works by loosening keratin, a protein that forms part of the skin's structure, to gently remove dead skin cells. This process helps renew the skin’s surface and improve its overall texture. By promoting skin exfoliation, this ointment supports the management of conditions like psoriasis, corns, calluses, acne, and dandruff-related dryness.

• Salicylic Acid IP (12% w/w): Salicylic Acid is a well-known keratolytic agent that helps in exfoliating and softening the skin’s outer layer. It works by dissolving the substance that causes skin cells to stick together, promoting easier shedding of dead cells.
