Salisis 2/2 % Ointment 15 GM

Salisis 2/2 % Ointment 15gm is used for managing various skin conditions such as psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff and other skin issues involving scaling, itching, and flaking, like eczema and atopic dermatitis. It is formulated with Coal Tar (2%) and Salicylic Acid (2%), two active ingredients that work together to manage these conditions effectively. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic that helps break down thick skin layers, while coal tar reduces inflammation and controls skin cell growth, which is often rapid in psoriasis.

• Salicylic Acid (2%): Salicylic acid is a type of keratolytic agent, which means it helps to break down the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to shed more easily. This property makes it effective in managing conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and seborrheic dermatitis, where skin cells build up excessively.
