Rockbon Kit Tablet is used in postmenopausal women and others at risk to manage osteoporosis, improve bone mineral density and lower the chances of fractures caused by reduced bone density.

Uses of Rockbon Kit Tablet are:

• Osteoporosis Management: Helps manage osteoporosis, a condition that makes bones weak and brittle.

• Bone Density Improvement: Helps improve bone mineral density and strengthen bones.

• Fracture Risk Reduction: Lowers the risk of fractures caused by weakened bones.

• Postmenopausal Bone Care: Particularly useful for postmenopausal women, who have a higher risk of osteoporosis due to hormonal changes.

Administer Rockbon Tablet as follows:

• Take this medicine on an empty stomach, preferably 30 minutes before any meal or drink.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid chewing or crushing the tablet.

• Stay upright, either sitting or standing, for at least 30 minutes after taking this medicine.

Rockbon Tablet is taken orally.

Rockbon Tablet is formulated with three active components:

• Ibandronate (150 mg): This component belongs to a class of medicines called bisphosphonates. It inhibits the activity of osteoclasts, the cells responsible for breaking down bone tissue. By slowing down bone resorption, ibandronate helps maintain bone mass and reduces the risk of fractures.

• Elemental Calcium (250 mg): Calcium is the main mineral found in bone tissue. Sufficient calcium intake is necessary to maintain bone strength and density. Supplementary calcium helps compensate for dietary deficiencies and supports bone health.

• Calcitriol/Cholecalciferol (0.25 mcg): This is a form of vitamin D, crucial for the absorption of calcium in the gut. It helps maintain adequate levels of calcium and phosphate in the blood, necessary for proper bone mineralisation. It also regulates the activity of bone cells, known as osteoblasts and osteoclasts, involved in bone remodelling.

• Store Rockbon Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Don't forget to keep it out of the reach of children.

• Please ensure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Include calcium-rich foods, like dairy products, green leafy vegetables, and nuts. This will support the effectiveness of Rockbon Tablet in managing osteoporosis.

• Regular weight-bearing exercises, such as walking, dancing, or lifting weights, can help strengthen bones and reduce the risk of fractures.
