Religrast 300 Mcg Injection is used to reduce the risk of severe infections in patients undergoing chemotherapy or bone marrow transplantation. It works by stimulating the bone marrow to produce white blood cells, strengthening immune defence during cancer treatment.
It contains filgrastim, a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF). It is administered as an injection under the skin or into a vein as prescribed by your doctor. It is important to complete the full course of treatment to ensure adequate infection protection during vulnerable treatment periods.
Maintaining clean hygiene practices, avoiding contact with sick individuals, and staying well rested support your recovery while receiving immune support therapy. Eat a clean, well-cooked, balanced diet as advised by your doctor.
Before receiving this injection, inform your doctor if you have sickle cell disease, kidney problems, or a history of allergic reactions to biological proteins. Contact your doctor right away if you develop fever, sudden upper abdominal pain, shoulder pain, or difficulty breathing.
