Piracet Syrup is used to help manage cortical myoclonus (sudden, involuntary muscle jerks). It is a single-ingredient medicine containing piracetam.
This medicine is also used to support memory and thinking and to manage vertigo (dizziness) linked to inner-ear problems. Measure each dose carefully with the measuring cup provided, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Getting enough rest, avoiding sudden head movements if you have vertigo and following any physiotherapy or balance exercises your doctor advises support treatment.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems or a bleeding disorder, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report new or worsening involuntary movements, agitation or unusual weight change. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
