NICAN 40 MG TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Preventing angina pectoris
• Managing coronary artery disease
• Reducing chest pain due to poor blood flow to the heart
• Decreasing workload on the heart
• Improving blood supply to the heart muscles
• Long-term management of chronic stable angina
• Preventing recurring chest pain episodes

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• Take this medicine at the same time each day.
• You can take it with or without food.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
• Never stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

NICAN 40 MG TABLET 10 is taken orally.

NICAN 40 MG TABLET 10 contains isosorbide Isosorbide-5-mononitrate / Isosorbide Mononitrate (40 Mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Nitric Oxide Production: The medicine converts to nitric oxide in the body, a natural substance that helps blood vessels relax and widen.
• Blood Vessel Dilation: Isosorbide mononitrate dilates both peripheral arteries and veins in your body, improving overall blood circulation and oxygen delivery to the heart.
