Mesaline 400 MG Tablet Pr 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of active ulcerative colitis
• Maintaining remission in ulcerative colitis
• Reducing symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease
• Treatment of mild to moderate Crohn's disease
• Prevention of ulcerative colitis relapse
• Managing chronic inflammatory colon conditions

Follow these instructions while taking Mesaline 400 MG Tablet Pr 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not cut, crush, or chew the tablet.
• Take this medicine on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.

Mesaline 400 MG Tablet Pr 10 is taken orally.

Mesaline 400 MG Tablet Pr 10 contains mesalazine (400 mg), which works in the following ways:

• Local Anti-Inflammatory Action: Mesalazine works directly in the colon to reduce inflammation by acting on the lining of your intestines.
