Isonit 5 MG Tablet 10 interacts with the following medicines:

• Medicines for erectile dysfunction (such as avanafil, sildenafil, tadalafil, or vardenafil): Taking these medicines with Isonit 5 MG Tablet 10 can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure, which may lead to dizziness, fainting, collapse, or serious heart problems. This combination should be avoided unless clearly advised by a doctor.
• Local anaesthetics (such as procaine or prilocaine): Using these medicines together with Isonit 5 MG Tablet 10 may increase the risk of a rare condition called methemoglobinemia, where the blood cannot carry enough oxygen, particularly with high doses or in susceptible individuals. This risk is higher in infants, people with heart or lung disease, anaemia, or certain genetic conditions.
• Medicines that lower blood pressure (including ACE inhibitors, beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, and other vasodilators): Using these medicines together may increase the blood pressure–lowering effect and cause dizziness or fainting.

• Severe anaemia: Use Isonit 5 MG Tablet 10 with caution in patients with severe anaemia. This medicine may reduce the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood in some individuals, which can worsen symptoms, especially in patients with heart disease or low haemoglobin levels.
• Hypotension (low blood pressure): Isonit 5 MG Tablet 10 can cause a significant drop in blood pressure. It should be used carefully in patients with low blood pressure, dehydration, shock, or poor blood circulation, as it may lead to dizziness, fainting, or collapse.

Your doctor will decide the daily dose of Isonit 5 MG Tablet 10 based on your condition and response to treatment. Always take the medicine exactly as prescribed and follow the dosing schedule advised by your doctor.

Taking more than the prescribed dose of Isonit 5 MG Tablet 10 may cause severe dizziness, drowsiness, fainting, or a sudden drop in blood pressure. If this happens, lie down and raise your legs while seeking immediate medical attention.

If you forget to take a dose of Isonit 5 MG Tablet 10, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.
