GONAPRESS 0.25 MG INJECTION 1 is used in the following conditions:

• Prevent premature ovulation in women

A healthcare professional will administer GONAPRESS 0.25 MG INJECTION 1, so please do not attempt to self-administer.

GONAPRESS 0.25 MG INJECTION 1 is for subcutaneous administration only. 

GONAPRESS 0.25 MG INJECTION 1 contains the following component:

• Cetrorelix (0.25 Mg): Cetrorelix is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist. It works by blocking the receptors of GnRH in the pituitary gland. This action inhibits the release of two hormones: luteinising hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which promote ovulation. By suppressing the release of these hormones, Cetrorelix prevents an early LH surge. This delay allows the eggs in the ovaries to reach optimal maturity before ovulation, increasing the chances of successful egg retrieval and fertilisation in assisted reproductive techniques like in vitro fertilisation (IVF).

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 25℃.
• Store it in its original package to shield it from light exposure.
• Ensure it's kept out of reach and sight of children.
• Never use GONAPRESS 0.25 MG INJECTION 1 after the expiry date, clearly marked on the package.

Ensure adequate hydration to minimise the risk of dehydration-related side effects such as headaches.
