Glycoheal G 1001 Tablet is used in the following conditions: 

• Improving blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Supporting diet and exercise efforts to manage type 2 diabetes in adults
• Helping to prevent post-meal blood sugar spikes in adults with type 2 diabetes

You should take Glycoheal G 1001 Tablet in the following way: 

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Avoid crushing, chewing, or splitting the tablet
• Do not exceed the dose recommended by your doctor
• Always consult your doctor before discontinuing this medication

Glycoheal G 1001 Tablet is taken orally. 

Glycoheal G 1001 Tablet contains the following components:

• Glimepiride (1 mg): Glimepiride is part of a medication group called sulfonylureas, which works by stimulating the pancreas to produce and release more insulin. This action helps lower blood glucose levels by increasing glucose transport from the bloodstream into the body’s cells for energy.
• Metformin (1000 mg): Metformin belongs to the biguanide class. It lowers blood glucose by reducing the liver's glucose production and enhancing the cells' sensitivity to insulin. Additionally, it slows glucose absorption from the intestines, leading to lower blood glucose levels overall.

The storage instructions for Glycoheal G 1001 Tablet are as follows:

• Store this tablet at room temperature, around 25°C, and protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not use this medication once it has passed its expiry date.

• Engage in physical activities such as cycling, walking, jogging, dancing, or swimming for at least 30 minutes daily, aiming for a minimum of 150 minutes of exercise each week. 
• Maintain a healthy body weight, as obesity can increase the risk of diabetes. Opt for a diet low in fat and sugar, replacing high-carbohydrate foods with whole grains, fruits, and vegetables to help control blood sugar levels. 
• Avoid alcohol and consider quitting smoking.
