Glipicon 10 MG Tablet 10 may interact with the following medicines:

• Beta-blockers: Medicines like Atenolol can mask the warning signs of low blood sugar, such as a fast heartbeat and tremors. When taken with glipizide, this can delay recognition of hypoglycaemia and increase the risk of severe episodes.
• Antibiotics (especially fluoroquinolones such as levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin): These may disturb blood glucose control and can cause low or high blood sugar when used with glipizide. Frequent glucose monitoring is advised.
• Antifungals: Medicines like Miconazole can increase the effect of glipizide and cause excessive lowering of blood sugar. This raises the risk of severe hypoglycaemia and requires close monitoring.

Glipicon 10 MG Tablet 10 should be used cautiously in:

• Heart disease: Episodes of low blood sugar may increase stress on the heart and can worsen chest pain or irregular heartbeat. Regular monitoring is advised.
• Hypoglycaemia risk: Patients prone to low blood sugar require careful use. This medicine can further lower glucose levels.
• Haemolytic anaemia / G6PD deficiency: Use with caution in patients with G6PD deficiency, as sulfonylureas may increase the risk of haemolytic anaemia. 

The daily dose of Glipicon 10 MG Tablet 10 should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as kidney function and response to treatment. Follow the prescribed dosage and never exceed it without consulting your doctor.

Taking more than prescribed may cause severe low blood sugar. Symptoms may include confusion, sweating, shakiness, drowsiness, seizures, or loss of consciousness. If you suspect an overdose, contact your doctor for advice about your symptoms.

If you forget to take Glipicon 10 MG Tablet 10, take it as soon as you remember. If it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule. Never double the dose to make up for a missed one.
