Eldofer Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of iron deficiency anaemia
• Prevention of anaemia during pregnancy

• Improving haemoglobin levels in chronic kidney disease
• Boasting red blood cell production

Follow these instructions while taking Eldofer Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• Take this medicine preferably on an empty stomach for better absorption.
• If stomach upset occurs, you may take it with food.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Keep taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

Eldofer Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Eldofer Tablet 10 contains sodium feredetate combination, which works on the body as follows:

• Iron Supplementation: Sodium feredetate supplies your body with iron in a readily absorbable form, which is essential for producing haemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout your body.
• Gastrointestinal Absorption: When taken orally, the sodium feredetate combination dissociates in your gastrointestinal tract, allowing the iron component to be absorbed into your bloodstream more effectively than some other forms of iron.
• Red Blood Cell Formation: Once absorbed, the iron is transported to your bone marrow, where it is used to produce new red blood cells, helping to increase their number and improve their function.

• Store Eldofer Tablet 10 at room temperature.
