Duoril 2.5ml Pack Of 5 Respules is used for:

• Relief of bronchospasm (sudden tightening of airway muscles) in asthma
• Relief of breathing difficulty in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Management of acute breathing episodes (sudden worsening of breathlessness, wheezing, or chest tightness)
• Relief from symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing
• Support during flare-ups (exacerbations) of asthma or COPD when breathing becomes difficult

• Use Duoril 2.5ml Pack Of 5 Respules only with a nebuliser device as prescribed by your doctor.
• Wash your hands before handling the respule.
• Twist open the respule and squeeze the prescribed amount of solution into the nebuliser chamber.
• Sit in an upright position and place the mouthpiece in your mouth or wear the mask.
• Breathe in slowly and deeply until the mist stops and the solution is fully used.
• Rinse your mouth with water after each use to reduce throat irritation.
• Clean and dry the nebuliser parts after every use to prevent infection.

Duoril 2.5ml Pack Of 5 Respules contains the following components:

• Ipratropium bromide (500 mcg): Ipratropium is an anticholinergic bronchodilator (medicine that helps open the airways). It works by blocking certain chemical signals that cause the airway muscles to tighten. This helps prevent airway narrowing, keeps the breathing tubes open, and makes breathing easier.
• Levosalbutamol / Levalbuterol (1.25 mg): Levosalbutamol is a short-acting beta-2 agonist (quick-acting bronchodilator). It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways, which helps widen the breathing tubes and provides fast relief from breathing difficulty.

• Store Duoril 2.5ml Pack Of 5 Respules at room temperature, in a cool and dry place.
• Protect from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
• Keep the respules in the original packaging until use.
• Do not use the medicine if the solution appears cloudy, discoloured, or contains particles.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Avoid smoking: Smoking irritates the airways and reduces the effectiveness of the medicine.
• Avoid triggers: Stay away from dust, smoke, pollution, cold air, strong perfumes, and allergens that can worsen breathing problems.
• Stay hydrated: Drink enough water to help keep mucus thin and easier to cough out.
• Practice breathing exercises: Techniques like deep breathing and pursed-lip breathing (slow breathing with lips slightly closed) may help improve lung function.
