Cove 0.5/0.25 MG Eye Drop 5 ML

Cove 0.5/0.25 mg Eye Drop is used for relieving mild eye irritation and discomfort. It helps lubricate the eyes, maintaining moisture and comfort throughout the day. The eye drop supports normal healing of minor surface irritation, reduces temporary redness, and soothes tired eyes. Additionally, it helps protect the eyes from dryness during daily activities.

• Chloramphenicol (0.5 mg): Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic that helps control bacterial growth in the eyes. It is commonly used to manage mild bacterial infections, reducing redness and discomfort. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which may stop the bacteria from multiplying and allow the eye to heal.
   
• Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) - 0.25 mg: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose is a water-soluble polymer used in artificial tears to relieve dryness and irritation in the eyes. It forms a protective, lubricating film over the ocular surface, mimicking natural tears. HPMC helps retain moisture, reduce friction during blinking and soothe symptoms of dry eye caused by wind, screen use or ageing.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
• Remove your contact lenses, if you wear any, before applying.
• Tilt head backwards, gently pull the lower eyelid, and instil one drop as advised.
• Gently close the eye and press the inner corner for 1–2 minutes.
• Wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting contact lenses.
• Use as directed by your doctor.
