Cipladine 7.5% Scrub 500ml

Cipladine 7.5% Scrub 500ml is used for providing skin disinfection and wound care. It helps fight infections in minor cuts, abrasions and surgical sites. Containing Povidone-Iodine, it provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial action, effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa. This antiseptic solution is ideal for use in medical settings to ensure proper preoperative cleansing and wound hygiene

• Povidone-Iodine (7.5%): Povidone-Iodine is a well-known antimicrobial agent that helps support skin disinfection. It works by releasing iodine, which targets and disrupts the cell membranes of bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa. This broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity makes it highly effective in fighting the growth of infection-causing microbes.
   
• Other Ingredients: Non-Ionic Detergent Base. 

• Preoperative Skin Preparation: Cipladine Scrub is used by surgeons and medical staff to disinfect hands and forearms before surgery. It helps reduce the risk of infections during the procedure by ensuring that the skin is free from harmful microorganisms.

For Pre-operative Scrubbing: 

• Wet hands and forearms with water.
• Pour 5 ml of Cipladine Scrub onto the palm and rub thoroughly over the entire area for about two minutes.
• If desired, use a brush to help develop copious suds.
• Add a little water to help in lathering, then rinse thoroughly under running water.

For Pre-operative Cleansing: 

• Apply Cipladine Scrub to pre-shaved and wet skin, rubbing thoroughly for a minimum of two minutes.
• Rinse the developed lather off with sterile gauze saturated with water.

• Read the label carefully before use.
• Store in a dry and dark place, away from direct sunlight and keep the temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• For external use only.
• Replace the cap tightly after use.
• Avoid use if allergic to iodine.
• Consult a doctor if you have thyroid conditions or are pregnant or breastfeeding before use.
• Do not use it on open wounds as it may slow healing.
• Do not freeze the product.
• If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.
