CARTIMOST GM Tablet is a medicine used to help manage symptoms of osteoarthritis in adults, particularly in the hip and knee joints. It combines diacerein, glucosamine sulfate and methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), and helps reduce joint pain, swelling and stiffness.
Diacerein reduces the production of inflammatory chemicals involved in cartilage breakdown, while glucosamine sulfate and MSM support joint cartilage structure and reduce inflammation, together supporting joint movement and potentially slowing cartilage wear over time.
Take this tablet with food to reduce stomach upset, as your doctor advises, and continue for the full duration prescribed, since the benefit builds up gradually over several weeks.
Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, bowel disease, a shellfish allergy, since some forms of glucosamine come from shellfish, or diabetes. Inform your doctor if you notice persistent stomach pain, dark stools, or changes in stool colour during treatment.
