Caldium Xt Capsule 10

Caldium XT Capsule is used for the following:

• Treatment of calcium deficiencies in adults

• Prevention and management of osteoporosis

• Supporting healthy bone formation and maintenance

• Addressing vitamin B12 deficiency conditions

• Correcting folic acid deficiency

• Managing vitamin B6 deficiency

• Enhancing neurological function and nerve health

• Supplementing calcium during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Follow these instructions while taking Caldium XT Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not break, crush, or chew the capsule.

• Take the capsule at the same time each day.

Caldium XT Capsule is taken orally.

Caldium XT Capsule contains five active ingredients:

• Calcium Carbonate (200 mg): This breaks down in your stomach's acidic environment to release calcium ions. These ions are then absorbed in your small intestine and incorporated into bones and teeth, making them stronger.

• Calcitriol/Cholecalciferol (2.5-4 mcg): Increases calcium absorption in your intestines and helps in bone mineralisation. It regulates calcium levels in your body by controlling parathyroid hormone (a hormone that manages calcium balance).

• Vitamin B6/Pyridoxine (3 mg): Functions as a coenzyme in various metabolic reactions, including amino acid metabolism, neurotransmitter synthesis, and haeme biosynthesis, supporting overall cellular function.

• Methylcobalamin (1.5 mg): Acts as a cofactor for enzymes involved in DNA synthesis, red blood cell formation, and myelin synthesis in nerve cells, supporting neurological function.

• Folic Acid (1.5 mg): Converts to tetrahydrofolate, which participates in DNA synthesis, amino acid metabolism, and red blood cell production to prevent anaemia.

• Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C.

• Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Include calcium-rich foods in your diet, such as dairy products, green leafy vegetables, and fish with soft bones, to support the bone-strengthening effects of Caldium XT Capsule.

• Spend 15-20 minutes in morning sunlight several times weekly to help your body naturally produce vitamin D, which works together with the calcium and vitamin D in Caldium XT Capsule.
