CompositionBELAR FORTE Tablet is used to address a range of inflammatory conditions. It contains betamethasone, a corticosteroid, and may also be included as part of combination therapies to enhance the effectiveness of other medicines.
Betamethasone works by reducing inflammatory responses and suppressing an overactive immune system, which helps ease redness, swelling, itching and discomfort across a range of inflammatory skin and systemic conditions.
Take this tablet exactly as your doctor prescribes, usually with food to reduce stomach irritation, and at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration needed.
Do not stop this medicine suddenly if you have been taking it for more than a few days, as this can cause harm to your body; your doctor will reduce the dose gradually when treatment is no longer needed. Tell your doctor if you develop signs of infection or notice any change in vision, as steroids can mask infection and, over time, affect eye pressure.
