Prozoten 1 Tablet 10

PROZOTEN 1 TABLET 10 is used to control high blood pressure, relieve urinary symptoms in BPH, and may also be used in heart failure and Raynaud's disease.

Uses of PROZOTEN 1 TABLET 10 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure.
• BPH Symptoms: Helps relieve urinary difficulties caused by an enlarged prostate.
• Other Uses: May also be used in heart failure and Raynaud's disease.

Follow these instructions while taking PROZOTEN 1 TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet, as this may affect how the medicine works.
• You can take this medicine with or without food at regular intervals.
• Stand up slowly from a sitting or lying position to avoid dizziness.
• Continue taking this medicine regularly even if you feel well.

PROZOTEN 1 TABLET 10 is taken orally.

PROZOTEN 1 TABLET 10 contains Prazosin (1 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blockade: Prazosin selectively blocks alpha-1 adrenergic receptors in blood vessels, causing them to relax and widen, which reduces resistance to blood flow.
• Blood vessel dilation: Prazosin helps dilate both arteries and veins by relaxing the smooth muscles in the walls of blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily throughout the body.
• Blood pressure reduction: Prazosin effectively lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and decreasing the resistance against which the heart must pump.
• Improved urine flow: Prazosin relaxes the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, helping to relieve urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

• Store PROZOTEN 1 TABLET 10 in a cool and dry place.
• Keep away from direct light, heat, and moisture.
• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Check the expiry date and do not use it after this date.
• Discard any unused or expired tablets properly.
