Lavotears 0.3 % Eye Ointment is used for managing dry eyes. It is formulated with Carboxymethylcellulose (0.3% w/w) and Glycerin (1% w/w). Carboxymethylcellulose acts as a lubricant that helps retain moisture on the eye surface, reducing dryness, irritation, and burning sensation. Glycerin works as a humectant, drawing and retaining water in eye tissues, thereby improving hydration and soothing discomfort. Together, these ingredients provide temporary relief from symptoms caused by insufficient tear production, prolonged screen time, or environmental factors. Lavotears Eye Ointment also helps reduce redness and swelling, improving overall eye comfort.
