Age and Dose Restrictions

• This combination is used in adults. It is not recommended for children unless specifically advised by the doctor.

Contraindications

• Flupirtine + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is contraindicated in patients with known allergy to flupirtine, paracetamol/acetaminophen, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• It is also contraindicated in patients with liver disease, alcoholism, or conditions associated with increased risk of liver injury. 

Other Medications to Avoid With This Medicine

• This combination may interact with anticoagulants (such as warfarin), sedative medicines (such as diazepam and alprazolam), anti-epileptic medicines (such as carbamazepine and phenytoin), antidepressants (such as amitriptyline and fluoxetine), other pain-relieving medicines containing paracetamol/acetaminophen, and medicines that may affect the liver (such as rifampicin, isoniazid, and methotrexate).
• Avoid alcohol while taking this combination, as it may increase the risk of liver damage, dizziness, and drowsiness.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Overdose of Flupirtine + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen may cause severe liver damage, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, confusion, excessive sleepiness, or dizziness. Seek immediate medical attention if these symptoms occur.
• If you forget to take this combination, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue the regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose.

Management of Side Effects

• Most side effects are temporary, generally mild, and usually improve with time. However, if you experience yellowing of the skin or eyes, severe dizziness, unusual tiredness, or worsening of symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.
• Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this combination, as it may increase the risk of liver damage and dizziness.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• This combination may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some individuals. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience these symptoms.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Flupirtine + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Caution is advised in older adults and patients with liver disease, kidney impairment, alcohol dependence, low body weight, or a history of long-term pain medicine use.
