Other Medications to Avoid

  • Avoid taking other antidepressants, antihypertensives, antidiabetics (pioglitazone, rosiglitazone), any narcotic pain medicine (such as oxycodone), tranquillisers or medicines for anxiety (such as lorazepam), muscle relaxants, antiarrhythmic (quinidine), sedatives, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) (citalopram (Celexa), escitalopram) and antihistamines. The concomitant use may reduce the effectiveness of Methylcobalamin + Nortriptyline + Pregabalin.

Overdose and Missed Dose

  • An overdose of this combination requires immediate medical attention from your doctor or the nearest hospital. Symptoms of an overdose may include drowsiness, confusion, agitation, restlessness, rapid heartbeat, low blood pressure, seizures, or difficulty breathing. Strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.
  • If you miss a dose of this combination, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed one and resume your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.

  • Avoid unnecessary or prolonged exposure to sunlight and to wear protective clothing, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Nortriptyline may make your skin sensitive to sunlight.
