Dosage Forms Available

• DHA + L-Methylfolate + Methylcobalamin + Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate + Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) is available for oral administration. It comes as tablets, capsules, liquid and syrup, chewables, and gummies.

Age and Dose Restrictions

• This supplement combination is meant for adults and children above the age of 12 years.

Contraindications

• This medicine is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the components.
• It should be used with caution under medical supervision in those with hypercalcaemia (high calcium) or hyperparathyroidism, haemochromatosis (too much iron in the body), megaloblastic anaemia (unusually large red blood cells) due to vitamin B12 deficiency, abnormal liver function tests, and a history of endocarditis (inflammation of the heart's inner lining) or valvular heart disease.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with antacids and proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole, lansoprazole), anti-seizure medications  phenytoin, carbamazepine, levodopa), cardiovascular medicines (digoxin), diuretics (hydrochlorothiazide), anti-obesity medication (orlistat), and anti-cholesterol medicine (cholestyramine).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of this supplement may cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain, dizziness, and confusion. If you suspect an overdose, immediately seek medical attention.
• If you forget to take your dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double up on doses to compensate for a missed one.

Management of Side Effects

• Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.
• Drink plenty of fluids if you experience diarrhoea or constipation.
• Avoid lying down immediately after taking this medication to prevent acid reflux.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• This medicine may cause dizziness and blurred vision. If you experience these symptoms, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you feel well enough.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Consult your doctor before using this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It should be used only when needed and under medical supervision.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Use with caution in individuals with kidney disease or liver disease, as these conditions may affect how this supplement is processed in the body.
