Age And Dose Restrictions

• This medicine is meant for adults and adolescents above 12 years of age.

Contraindications 

• This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known allergies to gabapentin or mecobalamin and patients with heart diseases, severe liver diseases, and mania.

Other Medications To Avoid With This Medicine

• Gabapentin combined with Mecobalamin may interact with medications like metformin (for diabetes), tetracycline (an antibiotic), antacids (such as cimetidine, dexlansoprazole, esomeprazole, omeprazole, pantoprazole, rabeprazole, and ranitidine), antidepressants (including citalopram, duloxetine, and fluoxetine), chemotherapy medications (such as methotrexate), and pregabalin (an anti-convulsant).

Overdose And Missed Dose

• An overdose of this medication may cause symptoms like dizziness, double vision, slurred speech, drowsiness, loss of consciousness, lethargy and mild diarrhoea. If you observe these symptoms, inform your doctor and follow the advice accordingly.
• If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. But avoid repeating the dose.
