How Ascorbic Acid + Biotin + Calcium Pantothenate + Folic Acid + Methylcobalamin + Niacinamide + Riboflavin + Thiamine Mononitrate + Zinc Sulphate works

  • Thiamine Mononitrate (B1) is a cofactor in the decarboxylation of keto acids, like pyruvic acid. When taken orally, thiamine is readily absorbed from the upper gastrointestinal tract, distributing widely throughout body tissues. Various urinary metabolites of thiamine have been identified in humans. While stored in limited amounts, thiamine can be found in the liver, spleen, kidneys, and heart.
  • Riboflavin (B2) plays a crucial role in cellular respiratory reactions, working with niacinamide. It is easily absorbed from the upper gastrointestinal tract and stored in limited amounts in the liver, spleen, kidneys, and heart, primarily in the form of flavidine adenine dinucleotide.
  • Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) participates in biochemical reactions related to oxidation, such as collagen synthesis, and facilitates the conversion of folic acid to folinic acid. It is essential for the normal phagocytic function of white blood cells (WBCs). Ascorbic acid is readily absorbed following oral administration; however, absorption involves an active process and may be restricted after very large doses.
  • Niacinamide (nicotinamide) plays a crucial role in cellular respiration and riboflavin. It is easily absorbed from the gastrointestinal (GI) tract after oral administration and widely distributed throughout the body.
  • Calcium pantothenate acts as a cofactor for enzymes that transfer acetyl groups. Additionally, it is necessary for a normal antibody response, working in conjunction with pyridoxine.
  • Folic acid, upon conversion to folinic acid in the body, participates in reactions essential for the synthesis of nucleotides and the maturation of red blood cells (RBCs) alongside vitamin B12. Additionally, it plays an essential role in the lymphocyte-mediated immune response.
  • Biotin, a water-soluble vitamin containing sulfur, is essential for humans due to its mandatory role in carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism. It is a vital component of enzymes crucial for gluconeogenesis, fatty acid synthesis, and the metabolism of branched-chain amino acids.
  • Zinc sulphate is essential for various critical metabolic reactions. The need for zinc in numerous enzymes responsible for gene expression elucidates the immediate impact of its deficiency on cell growth and repair. Zinc deficiency is linked to symptoms such as loss of appetite, growth retardation, skin changes, and immunologic abnormalities.
  • Methylcobalamin is absorbed intermittently from the distal small intestine after being taken orally. The absorption of vitamin B12 through oral administration is reduced when there is structural or functional damage to the stomach or ileum. Vitamin B12 is distributed throughout the body, including the liver, bone marrow, other tissues, and the placenta.
