Dosage Forms Available

• Camylofin + Mefenamic Acid is available for oral administration in the form of tablets and capsules.

Age and Dose Restrictions

• This medication is typically recommended for adults and children over the age of 12 years.

Contraindications

• Camylofin + Mefenamic Acid is contraindicated in patients with known allergies to either Camylofin or Mefenamic Acid.

• This medicine should not be given to patients who have a history of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding, severe kidney or liver disease, or a history of asthma attacks triggered by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with anticoagulants (such as warfarin), corticosteroids (like prednisolone), selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (such as fluoxetine), antihypertensives (like losartan) and diuretics (like furosemide).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Taking more than the prescribed dose may cause nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dizziness, excessive sleepiness, blurred vision, dry mouth, fast heartbeat, or seizures. Seek immediate medical attention if you suspect an overdose.
• If you miss a dose of Camylofin + Mefenamic Acid, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• Drinking plenty of fluids can help manage some side effects like dry mouth.

• If you experience dizziness or light-headedness, sit or lie down until the symptoms pass. Avoid standing up too quickly from a sitting or lying position.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• As this medication can cause dizziness and sleepiness, it may affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. It is advised to avoid such activities if you feel dizzy or sleepy after taking this medication.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• This medicine should not be used during the third trimester of pregnancy. Its use during the first two trimesters and during breastfeeding should only be on the advice of a doctor.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Patients with heart disease, hypertension (high blood pressure), liver disease, kidney disease, or asthma should exercise caution while taking this medicine.
