  • Indigestion

How Paracetamol + Caffeine works

  • Paracetamol + Caffeine works through two complementary actions that together provide enhanced relief from pain and fever.
  • Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It works primarily within the brain by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins - chemical messengers involved in transmitting pain signals and triggering fever. By reducing prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, Paracetamol lowers body temperature and reduces the perception of pain.
  • Caffeine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant. When combined with Paracetamol, caffeine enhances the pain-relieving effect of Paracetamol, allowing it to work more effectively. Caffeine also causes mild constriction of blood vessels, which can further help relieve certain types of pain, such as headaches associated with blood vessel dilation.
  • Together, this combination provides pain relief and fever reduction, making it useful for headaches, menstrual pain, muscle aches, and fever.
