How Paracetamol + Caffeine works

  • Paracetamol + Caffeine combines two ingredients that work together to relieve pain and fever.
  • Paracetamol is a pain reliever and fever reducer. It is thought to act mainly in the brain by reducing the production of prostaglandins, chemical messengers that trigger pain signals and fever.
  • Caffeine is a mild central nervous system stimulant. When combined with paracetamol, it enhances the pain-relieving effect and may help by mildly narrowing blood vessels, which can ease headaches linked to blood vessel widening.
  • Together, this combination provides more effective relief from pain and fever than paracetamol alone.
