Contraindications

• The medication is not recommended in patients with a known allergy to Fexofenadine.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Fexofenadine interacts with various medications, including midodrine, used for low blood pressure, and ketoconazole, prescribed for fungal infections. It may also interact with antibiotics like erythromycin and rifampicin, as well as HIV treatments such as ritonavir and lopinavir. Additionally, interactions can occur with theophylline, used for respiratory conditions, pseudoephedrine, a decongestant, and indigestion remedies containing aluminium or magnesium.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of this medication may cause symptoms like stomach pain, tiredness, thirst, headache, vomiting, dry mouth, dizziness, and hyperactivity. If you observe these symptoms, inform your doctor and follow the advice accordingly.
• If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. But avoid repeating the dose.
