How Clobetasol + Clotrimazole + Neomycin works

Clobetasol + Clotrimazole + Neomycin works through three separate actions that reduce inflammation while treating fungal and bacterial infection.

Clobetasol is a corticosteroid. It reduces inflammation, itching, and redness by lowering the production of substances that trigger these symptoms.

Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent. It damages the fungal cell membrane by blocking the production of ergosterol, an essential membrane component, which stops the fungus from growing.

Neomycin is an antibiotic. It blocks bacterial protein synthesis, which stops susceptible bacteria from growing.

Together, the three ingredients treat infection and inflammation at the same time, providing relief from skin irritation and discomfort.
