• Ramipril + Telmisartan is available for oral administration in the form of tablets.

Age and Dose Restrictions

• Ramipril + Telmisartan is intended for adult patients over the age of 18 years.

Contraindications

• Ramipril + Telmisartan should not be used by individuals with known hypersensitivity to either component of this combination.

• It is also contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment, severe kidney impairment, and in patients who have experienced angioedema (swelling underneath the skin) related to previous ACE inhibitor or ARB therapy.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, naproxen) and potassium-sparing diuretics (like spironolactone and eplerenone).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Taking more than the prescribed dose may cause severe low blood pressure, shock, an imbalance of body salts, or kidney problems. If you suspect an overdose, contact your doctor immediately.

• If you miss a dose of Ramipril + Telmisartan, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve after discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• To manage dizziness or lightheadedness, sit or lie down until the symptoms pass. Try to get up slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.

• If you experience dry mouth, try sipping water or sucking on ice cubes.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• Ramipril + Telmisartan may cause side effects such as dizziness or tiredness which may affect your ability to drive or use machinery. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Ramipril + Telmisartan is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medication.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Care should be taken when using Ramipril + Telmisartan in patients with kidney disease, liver disease, or heart problems.

Special Dietary and Lifestyle Recommendations

• A healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and low-fat dairy can help manage high blood pressure. Limiting salt intake is also important.
