Contraindications

• Ferrous Ascorbate + Folic Acid + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its active ingredients.

• This medicine is also contraindicated in individuals with conditions like hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, or any other condition causing iron overload.

Other Medications to Avoid

Overdose and Missed Dose

• If you accidentally take more than the recommended dose of this medication, it may cause acute iron poisoning which can lead to severe gastrointestinal irritation, bloody diarrhoea, shock, metabolic acidosis, and liver damage. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.

• If you forget to take a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.
