• Dexketoprofen is meant for adults and children above the age of 18 years.

Contraindications

• This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known allergies to Dexketoprofen. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of asthma, urticaria, or other allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs, and those with active or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/hemorrhage.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Dexketoprofen may interact with aspirin, ACE inhibitors (e.g., enalapril, lisinopril), angiotensin II antagonists (e.g., losartan, valsartan), diuretics (e.g., furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide), and anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Taking more than the prescribed amount of Dexketoprofen may cause nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, drowsiness, dizziness, and, in severe cases, kidney problems or gastrointestinal bleeding. If you notice these symptoms or suspect an overdose, stop taking the medicine and seek immediate medical attention.

• If you miss a dose of Dexketoprofen, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time.

• Patients with severe heart failure and those with moderate to severe renal impairment or severe hepatic impairment should exercise caution while using Dexketoprofen.

• Use of Dexketoprofen should be avoided in the third trimester of pregnancy.
