Contraindications

• Clonazepam + Escitalopram Oxalate is contraindicated in several cases, including hypersensitivity to any of its components, concurrent treatment with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs), liver disease, acute angle glaucoma, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding. These contraindications indicate situations in which the medication should not be used due to the potential risks or adverse effects it may pose to individuals with these conditions. 

Medications to Avoid with This Drug

• Clonazepam + Escitalopram Oxalate has the potential to interact with various other medications, including but not limited to other antianxiety drugs, monoamine oxidase inhibitors such as selegiline and moclobemide, opioids or strong pain killers, sedatives, anti-arrhythmic drugs, medications used to treat heartburn like cimetidine, and certain antibiotics like rifampicin and linezolid. It's essential to be cautious when taking Clonazepam + Escitalopram Oxalate alongside these medications, as interactions could lead to side effects or reduced efficacy of either medication.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of this combination may cause dizziness, tremors, agitation, convulsions, an irregular heartbeat, or in severe cases, coma. Symptoms of serotonin syndrome, such as confusion and a high body temperature, may also occur. Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected.
• If you miss a dose of this combination, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for the missed one.

• Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.
