• This medicine is indicated for adult patients and also for paediatric patients aged 2 months and above.

Contraindications

• Cefepime + Tazobactam is contraindicated in patients with known severe hypersensitivity to Cefepime, Tazobactam, other cephalosporins, penicillins, or β-lactamase inhibitors.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with diuretics (eg., furosemide and thiazides), live bacterial vaccines (eg., BCG, typhoid), anticoagulants (eg., warfarin), and neuromuscular blockers (eg., pancuronium).
