Other Medications to Avoid

• Melatonin may interact with an antidepressant (fluvoxamine), medicine used in phototherapy (psoralens), an antacid (cimetidine), a hormone (estrogen), an antibiotic (rifampicin), an anticonvulsant (carbamazepine), sleep aids (midazolam, temazepam, zaleplon, zolpidem, zopiclone), and a blood thinner (warfarin).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of melatonin may lead to excessive sleepiness, dizziness, headache, confusion, or changes in blood pressure. Contact your doctor immediately if an overdose is suspected.tj
• If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. But avoid repeating the dose.

• Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.
