Contraindications

• This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to either cetirizine, pseudoephedrine or any inactive ingredients in the formulation.
• It is also contraindicated in patients with conditions like urinary retention, hypertension, narrow-angle glaucoma, and severe coronary artery disease.

Other Medications to Avoid With This Medicine

• This medicine may interact with antidepressants (eg., selegiline and phenelzine), sympathomimetic amines (eg., phenylephrine and epinephrine), antihypertensives (eg., lisinopril and amlodipine), sedatives (eg., diazepam and zolpidem), and tranquillizers (eg., diazepam and alprazolam).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Taking more than the prescribed dose of Cetirizine + Pseudoephedrine may cause symptoms such as restlessness, a fast heartbeat, high blood pressure, or severe drowsiness. If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately.
• If you miss a dose of Cetirizine + Pseudoephedrine, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.
