Dosage Forms Available

• This combination of Calcium Citrate + Elemental Zinc + Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia) + Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) is available for oral use in the form of tablets and capsules.

Age and Dose Restrictions

• It is intended for use in adults, and children over the age of 12 years.

Contraindications

• This combination is contraindicated in individuals with hypercalcaemia or hypercalciuria, known zinc allergy, bowel obstruction or perforation, and hypervitaminosis D or hypersensitivity to vitamin D.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Calcium Citrate + Elemental Zinc + Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia) + Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) can interact with antibiotics (such as penicillamine), bisphosphonates (such as alendronate), levothyroxine, some diuretics (like thiazides) and digitalis glycosides (like digoxin).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of this medication may lead to symptoms of hypercalcemia including fatigue, confusion, and kidney problems. If you observe these symptoms, inform your doctor.

• If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• Mild side effects such as constipation, bloating, and gas caused by calcium citrate can be alleviated by adequate hydration and higher fibre intake.

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain caused by high doses of Elemental Zinc can usually be resolved by lowering the dose.

• If severe diarrhoea occurs due to excessive use of Magnesium Hydroxide, discontinue its use.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• This combination does not generally affect your ability to drive or operate heavy machinery. However, if you experience symptoms like dizziness or confusion, avoid such activities.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Consult your doctor before using this combination during pregnancy and lactation.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Special caution should be exercised by individuals with a history of kidney stones or severe renal impairment while taking Calcium Citrate + Elemental Zinc + Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia) + Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol).
