Uses of Bromelain + Trypsin + Rutoside

Bromelain + Trypsin + Rutoside is an enzyme and flavonoid combination that may be prescribed as an adjunct for short-term swelling after injury or surgery; evidence and approved uses vary.
This combination is commonly used for:
• Post-surgical swelling: May be used alongside standard care to reduce oedema after selected procedures.
• Post-traumatic swelling: Sometimes prescribed for short-term swelling and discomfort after sprains, strains, or soft-tissue injury.
• Soft-tissue inflammation: May be considered as supportive treatment in selected musculoskeletal conditions.
• Bruising and local oedema: Rutoside-containing combinations are sometimes used to support capillary function, although clinical benefit is not established for every condition.

  • Heartburn
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting

How Bromelain + Trypsin + Rutoside works

  • Bromelain + Trypsin + Rutoside combines proteolytic enzymes with a flavonoid.
  • Bromelain and Trypsin can break down proteins in laboratory and digestive settings. They are proposed to influence protein-rich inflammatory material after oral absorption, but the extent of absorption and clinical anti-inflammatory effect are not fully established.
  • Rutoside is a flavonoid proposed to affect capillary permeability and oxidative processes, but it should not be described as proven to strengthen blood vessel walls or prevent bruising.
  • The combination may be used as an adjunct for swelling in selected situations; claims that it accelerates healing or reliably reduces bruising are not well established.
