Age and Dose Restrictions

• This combination can be used in adults and children as advised by the doctor. Use in very young children should be under medical supervision only.

Contraindications

• This combination is contraindicated in patients with known allergy to benzocaine, paradichlorobenzene, turpentine oil, or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
• It should not be used in patients with a perforated eardrum, ear discharge, suspected or active ear infection, or recent ear surgery unless advised by the doctor.

Other Medications to Avoid With This Medicine

• This combination may interact with other ear preparations or local anaesthetic medicines used in the ear.
• Inform your doctor if you are using other ear medicines or ear cleaning products to avoid irritation or interference with treatment.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Excess use of this combination may cause increased ear irritation, redness, burning sensation, or dizziness. If symptoms worsen, consult your doctor immediately.
• If you forget to use this medicine, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue the regular schedule. Do not use extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.

Management of Side Effects

• Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and improve after stopping this medicine. However, if you experience severe irritation, swelling, rash, worsening ear pain, or hearing problems, consult your doctor immediately.
• Avoid inserting cotton buds or sharp objects into the ear while using this medicine, as this may worsen irritation or ear injury.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• This combination may occasionally cause dizziness in some individuals. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience dizziness after using this medicine.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• This combination should be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if recommended by your doctor.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Caution is advised in patients with chronic ear problems, hearing impairment, skin allergies, or a history of repeated ear infections.
